Aramark Staffing, Inc

Remember guys, this is a scam! Don’t click the link or submit your credit report!!

If you don’t believe me, take into consideration that there have been over 700 hits on this page in just over a week from people searching for it. I highly doubt they’re hiring over 700 people if they simply send in their credit report.

Still don’t believe me? Well, it’s your credit score / identity / money – don’t let me stop you!

In Regards To: recent inquiry with Lois Thielst with Aramark Staffing, Inc.

Greetings,

At this time we have a couple of opportunities available which we feel you are qualified for. They differ in types, duties, and pay ranges. On the low end you would most likely be looking at $14-$15 per hour and, subject to your screening scores, potentially up to $19.00 – $27.50 per hour. We have both full time and part time jobs available, including regular day shifts, nights, and even graveyard.

For you to progress to the next phase in the recruiting process, you will need to supply us with a current copy of your credit report. Aramark Staffing, Inc. has a zero tolerance policy in place in regards to theft of our client’s property. Your credit scores and payment history are not important to us; rather it is a means of verifying your identity, and will also serve as your acceptance of the position. Once you fill out the report, an email is automatically generated that notifies us of your acceptance. Upon receiving notfication that you have completed yoru report, we immediately mail your new hire paperwork along with times for your orientation. Your testing and starting wage will be determined at that time. Be sure to bring 2 forms of identification with you to the orientation.

Your free report can be obtained here: http://employee-verify.org/wp/applicant10366/

This tentative offer of employment will expire in three (3) full business days past the date sent. If you have any questions, please contact me directly.

We appreciate your interest in joining the team at Aramark Staffing, Inc., and hope you decide to come aboard!

Yup. I received this exact notice. Fortunately I cut my credit card so I didn’t fill it out.

I don’t agree with judging you by your credit anyways.

Thanks though, because I was tempted by the offer and was looking for their home office in Portland, which isn’t listed, then I found your site!

    Hi Danni,

My name is Chris and I have received 2 of these “Aramark Staffing Inc.” emails, almost word for word like the posting you have listed here. What can people do to: #1)stop receiving these emails
#2)how can we find out who is behind all these scam emails trying to get our credit reports?

I mean come on now, like things aren’t bad enough in the economy I need jerks like this sending me these kinds of scams. Do you have any idea where they would have gotten my email address in the first place. I knew something was fishy when I saw that it was sent from a yahoo email account, nothing that looked related to Aramark Staffing Inc.

I’d love to know what you think. Please email me with your reply or let me know where I can see your reply posted or something like that.

Thank you very much for putting up your post about this particular scam. I don’t know what I would have gotten myself into.

    Sincerely,
    Chris

Today I received the following email for a position I applied for through Simply Hired and Resumebook 360:

    Hello there,

Thanks for presenting your resume. We’re Tyson Recruitment, a third party recruiting and staffing company that bridges career hunters with current employers. We help make the entire career hunt and hiring procedure a little less painful. Tyson Recruitment has been in business since 1997 and over the years has grown an extremely large database of career providers in over 25,000 cities across the USA. We’re devoted to carrying out the job search procedure as fast and easy as capable.

This is in reference to one of our job openings you directly applied to and may have found on Indeed, Simplyhired, Resumebook360, or another online Career board; if you are no longer in need of employment simply disregard this email. We were directed to your resume by the Human Resourses department of a company that we staff and recruit for that is interested in hiring you. They have finished looking over your resume and references and are highly considering you for a position and would like to schedule an interview with you as soon as possible. The hiring company sent your resume along to us so we can ‘pre-screen’ you for the job. Our online applicant pre-interview screening consists of a couple of basic questions taking 5-10 minutes total. This helps to give the companies hiring team with a little bit more information to forward a smoother interview.

If you are uncertain of which career position this is in reference to, please scroll to the bottom of this email where you’ll see a job title and/or link to the original job you applied to within the quoted text at the bottom. Whenever you submitted your application, you would not have seen any mention of the employer or contact information, nor any mention of Tyson Recruitment. This is to give our career providers as much privacy as possible.

The human resources recruiting director at the location you’re applying for, Gina Broom, is interviewing for that job position through Wednesday of next week, 2/02, then will be away from town for several days. Given your qualifications, they would prefer to bump your interview to Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday if possible so you could meet with the hiring supervisor prior to leaving town. However, if this week does not work for you personally please go ahead and carry on using the screening below and the interview will be scheduled at your earliest convenience.

The pre-interview screening is a requirement of the company interested in hiring you and they cannot schedule your intervew until your screening is finished. Your screening will be logged from our end automatically and you will be contacted by the hiring company directly to schedule your interview as soon as you have finished the pre-interview screening.

Important! You’ll only have the ability to get this screening one time after you enter your private applicant code and start, so please make sure you’re available for 5-10 minutes before you start. Also to be able to start the screening you’ll be asked for an “Applicant Code” – Your private applicant code is 859978. Your Applicant code will only be good for forty-eight hours, so please complete the screening prior to then.

    screen.tyson-recruitment.com

Once again, before the hiring company can schedule your interview, they need you to finish the pre-interview screening.

So I clicked on the link and did the screening. At the end of the screening page it said that if I was doing the screening then I am one of 5 candidates they are looking at for the job. Once I submitted the screening page, which had the type of questions one usually gets asked during a live interview, I was sent to a page that said the following:

Applicant VerificationThe job/company you are applying to requires a background and identity verification check. In compliance with the USA Patriot Act 2001, all of our client job providers are required to maintain documentation confirming the identity of all employees. Our identity verification/background check program is through Experian/Equifax, which is in the form of a credit check. This identity verification is completely free to you while allowing us to receive an electronic response much quicker than traditional background checks (less invasive too). By completing the background check/credit report we will NOT receive any of your private credit history details or personal information. We simply receive your first and last name, and an “Ok” to proceed if there are no background discrepancies.

This step is required before we are able to schedule your interview – If neither of the verification links are completed, you will not be contacted. Also, keep in mind that our decision to hire you is not determined at all by your personal credit score or history.

Please note – for the identity verification/background check we cannot accept a scanned, faxed, or emailed report because we will not be able to electronically verify your identity from our end. So be certain to use the following link, which will direct you to a secure application through a credit reporting company linked to our Experian/Equifax account:

Click Here To Complete ID Verification

(will open in a new window)

(If you happen to already be a member at above link, or have trouble signing up, use the link below for a different provider.)

When you complete the credit check you will be given a customer number. Keep this handy, as it will help facilitate things during your interview with the HR Manager.

Once you have completed your credit check, please enter your initials and click Submit.

We will forward your information to the Hiring Manager as soon as the verification has been completed and contact you to schedule an interview.

    Enter your initials:

This is when I stopped and started looking for recruitment/credit scams info on the internet and found this website. I believe this is also a scam because I have never heard of a company asking to do a credit check before they even interview you. I also can’t find any information on a recruiting agency called “Tyson Recruitment”. So I did not do the credit check.

Has anyone else ran into this particular scam?

Now they are using Tyson recruiting ….

We were directed to your resume by the Human Resourses department of a business that we staff and recruit for that is interested in hiring you. They have finished looking over your resume and references and are highly considering you for a position and would like to schedule an interview with you as soon as possible. The hiring company uses us to ‘pre-screen’ and ‘pre-qualify’ candidates online for the job before they schdedule an in-person interview. Our online applicant pre-interview screening consists of a couple of basic questions taking 5-10 minutes total. This helps to give the companies hiring team with just a little bit more info to ease a smoother interview. Please continue reading below for instructions on completeing the pre-interview screening.

First, if you are no sure of which career opening this is in reference to, please scroll to the bottom of this e-mail where you’ll see a job title and/or hyperlink to the original employment position position you applied to in the quoted text at the bottom.

The human resources recruiting director at the location you’re applying for, Jim Davis, is interviewing for the position through Wednesday of next week, 3/2, then will be away from town for a few days. Provided your qualifications, they’d prefer to bump your interview to Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday if possible so you can meet with the hiring manager prior to leaving town. However, if this week doesn’t work out for you please go forward and carry on using the screening below and a new interview will be scheduled at your earliest comfort.

The pre-interview screening is a requirement of the company interested in hiring you and they cannot schedule your intervew until your screening is completed. Your screening will be logged from our end automatically and you will be contacted by the hiring company directly to schedule your interview as soon as you have completed the pre-interview screening.

Essential! You’ll only be able to get this screening 1 time right after you enter your private applicant code and begin, so please make certain you’re accessible for 5-10 minutes before you begin. Also to be able to begin the screening you’ll be asked for an “Applicant Code” – Your private applicant code is 949374. Your Applicant code will only be good for forty-eight hours, so please complete the screening prior to then.

Once again, your Applicant Code is 949374. And Please remember, before the hiring company will be able to set your interview, they require you to perform the pre-interview screening as the first step before your interview.

The moment I got it I knew something was wrong. I use two email addresses, 1 for job apps and the other for personal use…I received the email to the “personal use email address” not the email address I use for applying!

let me tell you there are some companies that hire you involving your credit score if they do they have data base that can search for it not you having to send them a copy . when they sign up for the data base they are checked themselves just saying
